Culture

Puglia is one of Italy's most scenic and exciting regions.  Apart from the wonderful "Trulli" houses, the region is rich in culture and history.  No visit is  complete without a visit to the UNESCO Heritage town of Alberobello, or the "Florence of the South", Lecce.  The wine region of Primitivo is on our doorstep and worth a full day's visit.

The local towns of Ceglie Messapica, Cisternino, Ostuni and Martina Franca are aincent and provide cosy medieval citidel fortress towns, with tiny winding streets, amazing historic buildings plus cute and atmospheric restaurants and bars.  Puglia is also famour for its food, and it certainly doesn't dissapoint.

Coast/Beach

The Trulli are a short 20 minute drive to the beautiful beaches on the Adriatic coast of Puglia and about 40 minutes from the Mediterranean sea.  Italian beaches or Lido, usually provide sun beds, umbrellas, toilets, snack bars and childrens activities, at a small daily rate. Parking is also usually included.

Golf

Two wonderful golf courses available on the coast about 30 mins drive from the trulli (worth the drive).

Special interest holidays

Cookery courses are available at the trulli - courses include how to use the pizza oven, make pasta and local dishes. Specially great for children!
